Blog #35

Well I had planned to freewrite on Michael Jackson again since that's what I did last time we had the opportunity to write about whatever we wanted to and since there was an article about him on MSN, but now that this "sub" has thoroughly ticked me off, my subject for to today has changed. I will now write about why teachers shouldn't be subs. Well for one, I don't think they should b/c some teachers come in and apply their own rules/work despite the lesson plans. For instance, I was in math class one day, and our very lovely sub, since she herself had been a so-called math teacher, made us do our work the way SHE thought we should do it, despite what we had told her and what the teacher had said. That is SO unnecessary. And today in this class. I was rereading the Michael Jackson article I had read this morning on MSN so I could do my blog, and that sub tapped into my computer and closed out everything, including my blog. I mean, first off, it wasnt like I was on a game or anything; I only had the article and my blog up. Then second off, he didn't even bother to ask me what I was doing or if it was necessary for me to have that open to complete the assignment; he just exited off and deleted my almost-complete blog. Completely unnecessary. And then teachers and other adults wonder why some students respond to them in the ways they do. So, to keep a conflict for brewing, I just decided instead to lay my head down until the next teacher came in. I'm so ready for the economy to get back on track so they can actually afford to pay subs again. I know that won't happen before I graduate, but still, I know there are students behind me who feel the same way.
